At Counselling with Carlie, we offer counselling services to help people through their struggles. Struggles can come in many forms and we believe that with the right support, everyone can overcome them. By providing a safe and understanding environment, we do our best to strive to help clients find their own solutions and better themselves. We offer both short and long term counselling services, so no matter what you are going through, we are here to help. We are passionate about helping clients reach their goals and we are dedicated to providing them with the support they need to get there.

Long term counselling

Short term counselling offers support for those experiencing low levels of mental health including low self-esteem, anxiety, low mood, confidence support, relationship issues, and a loss of purpose.  Our short-term counselling sessions typically last for 5-8 sessions and are tailored to your individual needs.  During the sessions, your counsellor will work with you to identify and address the issues you are facing, and develop the skills and strategies to help you manage and improve your mental health.  We will provide the support you need to start your journey to a healthier and happier life.

Long term counselling allows us to dive deeper into the issues that are affecting you.  We will explore your thoughts, behaviours, and feelings to gain a better understanding of your current situation.
By working together, we can begin to address any issues that have been causing you discomfort and distress.  We will also work to develop strategies that can help you cope with any issues that you are facing.  Longer term counselling can help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your feelings, leading to increased self-awareness and personal growth.

At Counselling with Carlie, we offer a safe and confidential space for you to express your thoughts and feelings.  Through our 5-8 sessions together, we will help you create achievable goals, build resilience and equip you with coping mechanisms to help manage low mood, anxiety and low self-esteem.

We aim to create a non judgemental, supportive environment for us to work together and help you reach a place of contentment and happiness.

At counselling with Carlie, our mission is to create a safe and supportive space for all of our clients to work through their issues and struggles.  With a holistic approach, we provide counselling services for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicidal thoughts and feelings.

We understand that it takes time to work through these issues, and that's why we offer longer-term options from 3 - 6 months up to a year.  Our goal is to help our clients work through their challenges and come out the other side feeling happier, healthier and more confident.

ABOUT ME

I am a registered member MBACP qualified counsellor with experience in supporting adults and young people with stress and anxiety at all levels including suicidal thoughts and feelings, motivation, self esteem issues, family conflicts, and confidence. I believe that everyone deserves to live a happy and fulfilling life, and I am committed to helping my clients achieve this. My approach is person centred and tailored to your individual needs and goals.

EXPERIENCE

I have years of experience working with clients from all levels of mental health, from low mood to working in a mental health hospital. My approach is understanding your needs and tailoring the sessions and the techniques, such as person centred counselling and  cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) tools. To support with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, addiction, and more. Whatever it is that you are struggling with.
